It's been a fun 3 months waiting for entrants and reading their amazing stories!  There were a total of 7 high-qualifying entrants and I'm SO happy that these seven couples entered the contest!  There are a lot of amazing items to be won and I'm glad to announce the winner RIGHT now!  Man it was CLOSE.  I even redid the math 4 times (and I'm a math ninja!) to make sure they were truly that close!  Only 0.25 points separated the winner from the 1st runner up!  Because of the close race, the 1st runner up is getting HALF OFF their wedding photography package with KC Photography AND a prize package with Brown Eyed Girls Boutique (http://www.facebook.com/BrownEyedGirlsBoutique)!

KC Photography's Wedding Spectacular!

Valentine's Day has been one of my favorite holidays since I can remember.  The sentiment is so grand.  Remembering the person (or people!) you love the most on one special day--February 14th.  It's not like Christmas where you have to spend weeks shopping and go in to debt just because the world has decided that's what is normal!   On Valentine's Day, even the smallest, most inexpensive sweetest gesture will get you through it!  




My "sweet gesture" to you is this wedding giveaway.  When I thought of it, I figured it would just be a teeny tiny contest and the only prize would be wedding photography.  Well, so many other businesses wanted to participate and I'm so grateful!  I love when people come together for something so fun and exciting! 




Below is the long list of vendors.  To be qualified you must visit each vendor's page.  If they have a facebook, you must "like" their page and leave a comment stating that KC Photography sent you there.   Not all the vendors have a facebook page to like. 




How to enter: 




You MUST have a facebook page and you MUST have an Etsy account.  
(if you do not have an Etsy account, simply go to etsy.com and sign up for a free one).   ***Current weddings booked with KC Photography may not participate.


1.  Your wedding MUST be taking place in one of these counties in Missouri in 2013 (NOT 2012). If you are outside any of these counties, you may still win all the prizes, but there will be a surcharge on the photography.  You cannot win the prizes and elect to use any other photographer.  Please inquire for more information.  

  
2.       Below is the long list of vendors.  To be qualified you must visit each vendor's page.  If they have a facebook, you must "like" their page and leave a comment stating that KC Photography sent you there.   Not all the vendors have a facebook page to like.    If the link takes you to an Etsy page, then you need add their shop to your favorites (see image).  Feel free to send them a message stating that KC Photography sent you.

(To get directly to their page, just "right click" on their photo and "open link in new tab" and it'll take you right there!)    You do NOT have to do this all at one time.  There are MANY vendors.  Facebook may even block your usage for a limited time if you "like" too many pages at once.  Feel free to pace yourself when doing this!


3.  Go to your facebook and make your status something about KC Photography and this wedding giveaway.  (If you are on your phone, using the @ symbol to tag me won't work, so please find a computer to use to tag KC Photography!  You may even just share this blog link).


4.  Leave a comment below when you have gone through ALL the vendors and "liked" their pages.  Please leave your first and last name as seen on your facebook.




5.    Click here to go to KC Photography's contact page and fill out the information.   This will request that you are given the questionnaire.  Get ready, you'll be answering a lot of questions and then submitting an essay-ish story about you and your true love AND a photo of yourselves!


If any of the above hasn't been done, you are disqualified even if you end up being the judges' choice.




PLEASE NOTE---KC Photography will NOT be doing the judging.  There will be judges from all over the world and they will be scoring you based on what you say in your story and the answers to the questions you provide.  You may receive up to 5 stars from each judge.


This contest will end sometime in June (because June is "wedding month" and I'm way too busy in May to do it!).  If there is an overwhelming number of entrants, KC Photography reserves the right to treat the first couple months as a "preliminary round" and have a "finalist" category. Please stay tuned to this blog and KC Photography's facebook to view any changes and/or updates!   KC Photography also reserves the right to change this contest if necessary.
